About Us -

Good Food, Cold Drinks & River Views

For more than 30 years, Rick’s on the River has been bringing Tampa together for good food, cold drinks, live music, and unforgettable waterfront views. Family-owned and operated since 1994, we’ve built our reputation on laid-back energy, genuine hospitality, and the kind of atmosphere that keeps locals and visitors coming back.

As Tampa’s only Dock & Dine restaurant, Rick’s offers a waterfront experience you won’t find anywhere else. Arrive by land or cruise in by boat or jet ski, tie up at our marina, and step right onto the deck for a seat by the river.

From fresh daily oysters and our famous wings to ice-cold draft beer and signature drinks, there’s always something to enjoy. With three bars, live music from talented local artists, and a front-row seat to life on the river, Rick’s is the perfect place to meet friends, catch a game, watch the sunset, or simply unwind.

There’s no corporate polish here—just three decades of family-run Tampa history, familiar faces, and great times on the water. Come for the food, dock your boat, and stay for the music. At Rick’s on the River, there’s always a seat waiting for you.
